There has been an update to the Guidance to Anesthesia Staff Care of the patient with Covid-19 pdf. Please see the link below. The big change is that patients will be brought to an isolation room in preop and PACU. They will not be brought directly to the OR for preop. Aerobiotix filter machine will no longer be utilized by the OR staff. OR cleaning can begin immediately after the case. Proper PPE is still required.
